Tonight Collin had his third baseball game (first one I've been able to attend). He fielded a ball while playing short stop and was able to throw it to second and force an out. He had two at bats and swung at every ball pitched to him, but no hits. They kept trying to get him to wait for a good pitch, but he was too eager to swing. It is so fun to watch them all learning and improving with every game. Collin loves to play baseball and wants to play catch with daddy at any opportunity. Now that I am home Victor will try to get him to the batting cages occasionally. He is already hooked on sports just like his dad!
Alana is doing great as usual. She is picking up English slowly but surely. She understands many words (potty, eat, drink, more) and is repeating words and phrases. She isn't using any words spontaneously (other than hi and bye), but is signing some (eat, more, all done). She was so sweet at the game tonight and was telling me that she loved daddy, mommy, big brother, and little brother in Chinese. Such a sweetie! She has been a bit of a mommy's girl today and even followed me into the bathroom at one point. I know my mom is getting me back on that one. I was terrible about not letting my mom leave the room when I was little!
Here are a few pictures from today.
