Universal Studios

Today ended on a positive note, but this park was really too intense for our kids. Collin was tall enough to ride The Mummy rollercoaster and a Jurassic Park ride -- but he didn't want to ride either of them again. We also went through a Backdraft and a Special Effects show, but the younger kids didn't like either of them. After that we mainly took pictures with characters and did the backlot tour. We got to drive by the set of an Adam Sandler movie that was currently filming. Supposedly some of the tours saw him earlier that day, but we didn't. The kids loved the Curious George water section that we went to in the afternoon. We remembered it from our previous trip and brought the kid's swim suits for them to change into. The weather was still a little cool today, so the kids were freezing by the end of it. Dylan didn't play in the water much, but there were other play areas that didn't have water. This is definitely a place for kids 10 and older, so it will be a while before we visit again.
