The Drama that I'm referring to in the title is not related to Collin's acting class. I'm sure he experienced much less "drama" in that class than I had to deal with today. I managed to get Alana to her acting class this morning, even though we hadn't left the house in days and are still feeling sick. She LOVED the class as you can tell from the pictures. Her teacher came out after the class to introduce herself because she was so smitten with Alana. She said she is very eager and always had a "let's go" attitude. I smiled because that is Alana 24/7 -- "LET'S GO!" She is such a busy bee. Alana went on and on and on about how much she liked the class and that she wants "MORE, MORE, MORE."
Dylan really wasn't feeling well this morning though. He doesn't have any symptoms that I can see, but he was either really tired or had a sore throat or just felt achy. He was really fussy during Alana's class and kept asking to go in and play too. When the class was over and it was time to leave, he had a complete meltdown that he didn't get to play. He screamed all the way out to the car and for another 5 minutes in the car. It was lovely.
I put him down for a nap when we got home and he was in much better spirits about an hour and half later. This afternoon we turned back around and went to the same building for Collin's acting class. Alana was then insistent that she was going to go back to gymnastics. I tried explaining that she will go back, just not until next week. She kept talking about gymnastics and her friends and gymnastics and her friends and we just couldn't seem to get past it. She was upset when we left Collin at the class and she didn't get to do gymnastics again. I did finally get her to understand that she will go to gymnastics in 7 more days and we started practicing head stands at home which helped tremendously. As you can see, Collin and I jumped right in there with her. We actually had a lot of fun this evening after getting through all the drama of the day!
