Next week

Well, we are still plugging away at the house. We are having issues with our contractor, but I suppose that is to be expected. Nobody showed up today to work on the house, so at 10:30 I called the owner. He called me back this afternoon for the "excuse of the day." I'm sure tomorrow he'll have another one. I think he must have a list that he chooses from -- "hmmm, which one should I use today?" So far, we've gotten sick with the flu, someone cut off their thumb, sick child and today it was that the guy's wife went to work with the keys to his truck. I may have to come up with a daily post of the excuses. They are getting pretty humorous at this point!

In other news, Alana and Dylan's birthday is this week. I will start working on their cakes on Wednesday or Thursday. We'll probably go to Chuck E. Cheese's for lunch on Thursday and let them open a few presents. Their big birthday party will be on Saturday at Pump It Up. I'm sure it will be a blast!
