I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!! Ours was good, although I feel terrible that I forgot to bring my camera to the festivities. So, Alana's first Thanksgiving picture was taken on Saturday when we celebrated in Springfield.
We had our Thanksgiving dinner with Victor's dad and then had dessert with my dad, Marilyn and Dominic. Alana wasn't so keen on the dinner, but she sure loved dessert!! It is always so wonderful to be with family on Thanksgiving.
Saturday we drove to Springfield for the day. It wasn't such a bad drive down there -- only 2 1/2 hours -- about 2 movies for the kids. However, after being there all day with no naps, coming back was more stressful. Alana fell asleep about 30 minutes into the trip, but she only slept for about 30 minutes and then woke up crying. Dylan wouldn't go to sleep at all, but fussed because he was so darn tired. PRAY for us on our 12-13 hour road trip this week. It will not be fun if Alana looks as pitiful as this on the trip!
