I hope everyone has a happy 4th of July today! We went to the Royals game last night where they had a pre-4th of July fireworks show. There were a lot of home runs during the game (they won 17 to 3), so there were a lot of fireworks during the game as well. Alana didn't like the loud booms or when the crowd would cheer loudly. She wanted to be held and would put my hand over her ear to muffle the sound. It was just a bit of sensory overload for her. She did come around toward the end of the fireworks and had a tiny smile on her face. Hopefully she will be OK tonight as well. We are also going to Disney next month and there will be lot of fireworks there too.
